Coding is a versatile language that allows even young children to create engaging stories, games, and animations. In today’s technology-driven world, coding is essential for future careers in various fields like medicine, finance, engineering, arts, and teaching. It not only enhances digital skills but also fosters critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, persistence, attention to detail, and logical thinking. By expressing ideas creatively through coding, children can improve their overall learning in areas like numeracy and literacy. Coding tools such as MIT’s Scratch use blocks to teach fundamental concepts like variables, sequencing, events, and software development, empowering kids to create interactive projects effectively.
Join us to explore the world of computers, digital technologies, and coding in an engaging and educational setting.

Through this partnership, Ubuntu Junior Academy and Spark Coding Academy have combined mutual, unique resources and competences to create a “center of excellence in computer engagement for young learners”. Taking advantage of the available opportunities and facilities to advance digital literacy in the young learners, thereby sharpening the approach and implementation of CBC.
