Yes we are a christian school

We offer the Competency Based Curriculum (CBC) which integrates academics and a wide range of extracurricular activities to unleash the special talent in every child. 

We are currently admitting children aged 2.5 – 7 Years (the young ones must be toilet trained)

 

Class starts at 8 a.m. sharp on weekdays

We have a average of 15 pupils per class

We use time off, a naughty corner, detention, loss of privileges (e.g. toys) and parent involvement where necessary. 

We don’t do corporal punishment!

No, if your child is sick or on medication, we encourage you to let them stay home so that they can recover quickly.

This will also protect the other kids from being infected.

We don’t administer medicine.

No, your child won’t have any homework. They’ll finish all their work before going home so that they can enjoy being children at home. 

A teacher on duty is left behind with the children until the parents arrive for pick up. 

Through parent-teacher meetings, mid and end-of-term progress reports. 

Yes, we have a dedicated school van that transports children to and from the school. 

We offer Golf, Swimming, Skating, Ballet, Music, Taekwondo, German/French and Board games. 

Yes. We have educational trips such as farm and other thematic visits. These are once a term.

(It is not included in the school fees and will be at an additional cost).

Birthdays are celebrated together with classmates.

Parent(s) are also welcome if available during the time of celebration.

The celebration is done during the tea break where the cake is cut, and sweets/snacks are shared among the children.

Our uniform colors are navy blue, white and wine-red.

Uniforms are available from the school and are made of cotton. 

1:10 (this includes the helpers in the school) 

We have a resting room with beds for each child, equipped with a blanket. 

There should be prior arrangements made by the parent with the school.

Identification of individuals (except parents) when picking up the children has to be provided prior to picking up the child.

Movement within the school is limited to parents, children and confirmed staff.

We have trained professionals who handle these issues with confidentiality.

There should be early communication between the parents and the school for vacations.

Yes. We have a weekly learning plan.

Through phone calls (if available), letters and emails.

During open days, parents go through the child’s learning schedule.

During half term and at the end of the term, each child is given a report on their progress.

After the evening cleaning, the ayah/assistant teacher walks through the class, wiping the toys and materials.

At the end of each term, all toys are washed and cleaned appropriately.

All staff in the school are trained on first aid.

In case of an emergency, the children are taken to Afya medical Centre (5 minutes away from the school)
